Paytm ऐप को Google Play से हटाया गया, यह है वजह

 

इससे पहले शुक्रवार को, गूगल ने एक ब्लॉग पोस्ट किया था, जिसमें कंपनी ने अपनी गैंबलिंग (जुआ) नीति के बारे में जानकारी दी थी, जो ऐप डेवलपर्स को खेल सट्टेबाजी की सुविधा देने की अनुमति नहीं देती है।

Paytm को Google Play से हटा दिया गया है। कंपनी ने पुष्टि करते हुए बताया है कि इसे हटाए जाने के पीछे का कारण कंपनी द्वारा हाल ही में ऐप में फैंटेसी क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का जोड़े जाना है, जो कि गूगल प्ले की नीतियों का उल्लंघन करता है। iOS के लिए पेटीएम ऐप अभी भी ऐप्पल ऐप स्टोर के जरिए डाउनलोड के लिए उपलब्ध है। पेटीएम ऐप के अलावा, Google Play ने Paytm First Games ऐप को भी अपने स्टोर से हटा दिया है, जिसमें समान फैंटेसी क्रिकेट फीचर्स शामिल है, लेकिन वास्तविक क्रिकेट सट्टेबाजी के साथ।

Paytm ऐप की Google Play लिस्टिंग में अब एक एरर टेक्स्ट दिखाई दे रहा है, जिसमें लिखा है, (अनुवादित) "हमें खेद है, अनुरोधित यूआरएल इस सर्वर पर उपलब्ध नहीं है।" एंड्रॉयड डिवाइस पर यूज़र्स प्रीलोडेड Google Play से ऐप डाउनलोड करने में भी सक्षम नहीं हैं। हालांकि, मौजूदा यूज़र्स जिनके पास ऐप पहले से ही उनके डिवाइसों पर इंस्टॉल है, वे कंपनी द्वारा प्रदान किए गए मोबाइल वॉलेट और अन्य सेवाओं का उपयोग करना जारी रख सकते हैं।

पेटीएम ऐप के साथ, पेटीएम फर्स्ट गेम्स भी अब गूगल प्ले के जरिए डाउनलोड के लिए उपलब्ध नहीं है।

Google ने अपने ब्लॉग पोस्ट में कहा (अनुवादित) “हम ऑनलाइन कैसिनो की अनुमति नहीं देते हैं या किसी भी अनियमित गैंबलिंग ऐप्स का समर्थन नहीं करते हैं जो खेल सट्टेबाजी की सुविधा प्रदान करते हैं। इसमें यह भी शामिल है कि अगर कोई ऐप यूज़र को किसी बाहरी वेबसाइट की ओर ले जाता है, जो उन्हें असली पैसे या नकद पुरस्कार जीतने के लिए भुगतान किए गए टूर्नामेंट में भाग लेने की अनुमति देता है, तो यह हमारी नीतियों का उल्लंघन है।” कंपनी ने पुष्टि की है कि यह पेटीएम ऐप को हटाने का कारण था।
